Ek Shloki Ramayana - Ramayana in one shloka

ādau rāma tapōvanādigamanaṁ hatvā mr̥gaṁ kāñcanaṁ
vaidēhī haraṇaṁ jaṭāyu maraṇaṁ sugrīva sambhāṣaṇam |
vālī nigrahaṇaṁ samudrataraṇaṁ laṅkāpurīdāhanaṁ
paścādrāvaṇakumbhakarṇahananaṁ hyētaddhi rāmāyaṇam ||

This verse contains a brief story of Ramayana

Shri Ram went into exile, where he killed the golden deer. Ravana abducted Sitaji, and Jatayu was killed by him. Shriram and Sugriva became friends. Shri Ram killed Bali, crossed the sea, burned down Lanka, and ultimately defeated Ravana and Kumbhakarna.

Importance

It is not possible to recite Ramayana daily, so today we are going to tell you about a shloka, reciting which will give you the same results as reciting the entire Ramayana. This verse is also called Ek Shloki Ramayana.
